I Play My Taiji Lyrics & Music: Sam Masich ©2023
It’s raining on the mountain of the future deep inside
Water comes from higher than the highest of the skies
A lightning storm has brought it to the ground in windy fire
I am laughing, I am crying into this river that divides us
We are the seed-bank of the touch-connection skill
Passed down by ancient masters beyond the veil of cheap thrills
Whether come down from the mountain or forged in cauldrons red
We are dancing, we are standing on a mountain that unites us
It is an allegory for the universe itself
It is macro, it is micro. It is nothing on the shelf
A lightning storm of virtue where the water is the way
I do it in the morning and it does me through the day
I play my Taiji
I play my Taiji
I play my Taiji
I play my Taiji
